What is SSHN and how does it work?

The Secure Swiss Healthcare Network (SSHN) expands the HIN trust domain in accordance with the principles of SCION technology (“Scalability, Control and Isolation on next-generation Networks”) and enables:

A highly secure, protected communications infrastructure exclusively for authorized healthcare professionals
Automatic failover in the event of path failures
Communication via entirely Swiss networks with a clear governance structure

EDGE-to-EDGE Encryption not only significantly increases data traffic security, but also reduces operating costs and increases availability to external partners. True to the motto: reducing complexity and costs while increasing security, stability, and availability.

The following points are required in order to use the “EDGE-to-EDGE Encryption” feature:

Ordering the Anapaya Pro license from Cyberlink (contract amendment)
Software version v0.39.0 (Cyberlink plans to roll out version v0.40.6 in February)
The respective connection partner also has an Anapaya Pro license and the required software version
Configuration of the connection on both sides

If you order the Pro license by March 31, 2026 at the latest, we will cover your additional costs for the first three months.
