MPLS.
The traditional approach to implementing private networks, known as “multiprotocol label switching” (MPLS), is typically based on a dedicated network of high-performance fiber optic connections. Data traffic between the connected locations is transported unencrypted.
DMVPN.
Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN) uses IP tunnel technology for site networking. Data is transmitted in encrypted or unencrypted form, depending on requirements.
DMVPN allows different connection technologies to be combined without any problems. This approach therefore offers flexible solutions for both individual workstations and corporate headquarters.
SD-WAN.
Software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) uses a software overlay for application- and policy-based routing to optimize data flow.
