Who developed SCION?
SCION was developed at ETH Zurich, primarily under the leadership of Prof. Adrian Perrig and his research team.

If you do not have the required permissions, the administrator user of your company can set them up for you.

Consulting and engineering services are billed according to the following hourly rates. All time indications refer to Central European Time (CET/CEST). Public holidays are defined as all official national (Switzerland) and cantonal (Canton of Zurich) public holidays. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
Are there any prerequisites for partner status?
For certain partner levels, requirements such as a minimum revenue volume apply. If you do not yet meet these requirements at the moment, we will be happy to support you in reaching them as quickly as possible. Together, we will assess which form of collaboration is best suited.
Who owns Cyberlink?
Cyberlink is 100% owned by Swiss management.
What is the purpose of the “Service Description” field?
Each service has a contract ID for unique identification of the service and a service description. The service description allows the customer to define their own label for the service so that it can be identified easily and quickly. Users with write access to the respective service can edit the description in the “Service Details” view.

Can service contacts be changed for multiple services in a single step?
Yes. That is possible.
Which users are suitable as service contacts?
Service contacts are contacted by Cyberlink employees as part of productive service management to communicate technical or administrative information or to make inquiries. We recommend using non-personal email accounts, for example support@customer.com, to ensure smooth collaboration even when individual employees are absent.
What role does the administrative service contact take on?
This contact serves as the commercial point of contact for Cyberlink. We contact them to communicate or confirm service changes.
Can IP addresses be retained when switching technologies?
When switching Cyberlink Internet Access technology, IP subnets can be retained provided that no parallel operation is required. Depending on how the new setup looks, usable IP addresses may be added or removed.
Can I change my subscription during the contract term?
Subscription changes during the contract term are reviewed by Cyberlink on a case-by-case basis.
What role does the technical service contact take on?
This contact serves as the technical point of contact for Cyberlink during service operations. They receive technical and operational information, for example regarding maintenance work, incident resolution, or the validation of technical changes. Important: To enable timely incident resolution, it is essential that the technical contact is reachable during support hours (e.g. 24/7).
What is the purpose of service contacts?
To enable Cyberlink to provide proactive service management, each service is assigned both a technical and an administrative contact.
What is RIPE?
RIPE stands for Réseaux IP Européens.
What is the purpose of the “Friend” user role?
A friend is an external employee, for example an IT service provider, to whom certain service management tasks have been delegated. For this purpose, the administrator user can create a user with the role “Friend” and assign explicit rights to services. Within the scope of these permissions, a friend can interact directly with Cyberlink Support.
How do I obtain IPv6 addresses?
IPv6 addresses can be requested directly from our internal sales team.
What access rights to services can a user obtain?
There are three levels of permissions that the administrator user can assign to their users or friends per service: no access, read access, or write access. In addition, a distinction is made between implicit and explicit rights. Implicit rights are general permissions that allow a user to access all services with read or write access. In addition to implicit rights, the admin can also assign explicit rights to individual services. Friends can only be granted explicit rights.
